Timeline Longevity Supplement Review + The Fascinating Research Supporting It

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

No matter what we do, time marches on. But instead of aging and becoming debilitated, there are many natural substances that we can harness to help delay and even reverse some aspects of aging. That’s why I’m in constant pursuit of new research findings and anti-aging compounds that have a high safety profile and high yield for benefits.

That is where Timeline’s Longevity supplements come in; there is a substantial body of research showing that their product helps reverse signs of aging. Their product is called Timeline Longevity Supplement and it comes in powder form, gel cap form, and gummy form.

In this post, learn about the research supporting Timeline Longevity supplement, my honest unpaid review, how to take it, the cost, and where to find it. As an Timeline affiliate, I do make a small amount of income from purchases but in no other way am I influenced by this company.

What Is Timeline Longevity Supplement Made Of?

The Timeline Longevity Supplement is made of the compound Urolithin A trademarked as Mitopure®. Importantly, it is the only type of trademarked Urolithin A on the market today. By supporting autophagy, Mitopure®, as urolithin A, helps reduce aging signs and promotes cellular cleanup. It is made from polyphenols which are converted by bacteria in the gut into urolithin A. Because of this, urolithin A is a postbiotic. But most people lack the types of healthy bacteria that convert polyphenols into Urolithin A, so the only way to assure you are getting  urolithin A is to take a supplement of it.

Previously, I have tried Timeline’s Longevity Mitopure® Gel Caps and found them beneficial for improving muscle strength and boosting my athletic performance. This time, I’m trying the powder and gummies to see if they provide similar results at a different point in time just to know if my first experience was a placebo effect or not.

How Does Timeline’s Longevity Supplement Work?

Timeline’s Longevity supplement as Mitopure® accelerates mitophagy, a form of cellular clean-up of our damaged and dysfunctional cells specifically in the mitochondria. This is basically a type of autophagy for the mitochondria. Mitopure® helps clean out these damaged mitochondria so that more efficient mitochondria can take their place.

Additionally Mitopure’s Longevity supplement allows a targeted approach to create mitochondrial health and, by extension, muscle health. Mitopure® has been shown to improve muscle strength and endurance in healthy but sedentary adults. A reduction in inflammatory markers, including C-reactive protein, was also observed in these trials.

Muscle function decline is a common sign of aging, so the fact that Timeline’s Longevity Supplement can help reverse this is pretty compelling. The heart is a major muscle too, and the mitochondrial content of the heart predicts heart failure and other heart issues. Mitochondrial dysfunction likely plays a critical role in the development of heart failure. The inability to generate and transfer energy in the mitochondria of the heart has long been considered a primary mechanism linking mitochondrial dysfunction and heart contractile failure.

The use of urolithin A over a 4 month period reduced plasma ceramides, an established marker of cardiovascular disease. A short-term study of 4 weeks didn’t prove valuable in people with pre-existing heart failure, but a major critique of this study is that it wasn’t long enough to see a difference in heart function.  An animal study demonstrated that urolithin A was able to prevent ventricular arrhythmias after heart attacks (myocardial infarctions).

Timeline Longevity Supplement Reduces Inflammation

One of the major perks of Timeline Nutrition’s Longevity Supplement is that it reduces inflammation. In one clinical trial, four months of 1000 mg of Urolithin A reduced inflammatory markers, including interleukin-1 beta (IL-1ß) C-reactive protein (CRP), interferon-gamma (INF- γ), and tumor necrosis factor-alpha (TNF-α).

Urolithin A also likely helps reduce osteoarthritis pain. One study found that supplemental urolithin A increased mitophagy and mitochondrial respiration cartilage cells from joints of both healthy donors and osteoarthritis patients. Additionally, Urolithin A reduced the osteoarthritis disease progression in a mouse model, decreased cartilage degeneration, reduced synovial inflammation, and decreased pain. While further research is needed, use of Urolithin A from Timeline’s Longevity supplement may indeed help relieve arthritis pain.

To demonstrate Timeline Longevity Supplements’ benefits, here are couple of graphs showing the effects Mitopure® on muscle strength published in Cell Reports Medicine journal. You should note that the hangrip strength and hamstring average peak torque were compared between placebo, 500 mg of Mitopure®, and 1000 mg of Mitopure daily over a 4-month period.

It is clear that Timeline’s Mitopure® works to improve muscle function and strength above and beyond placebo after treatment for 4 months. It also improves peak VO2,and this is a marker of aerobic health and fitness.

The Many Benefits of Timeline Longevity Supplement

Beyond its benefits shown in clinical trial results, Timeline Longevity Supplement as Mitopure® has other important benefits according to early research. The topical application of Mitopure® on the skin helps to renew skin cells and helps combat many aging signs.

Additionally, Urolithin A supplements as Mitopure may also help:

More research is needed to confirm these findings in humans.

Timeline Longevity Supplement Review-Cost

I was intrigued by the ability of Timeline’s Longevity Supplement because it increases blood plasma levels of the potent Urolithin A by 6 times as much as pomegranate juice. To translate that into cost, the average glass of pomegranate juice today costs $4.50 per cup-the cost has gone up a lot in the last year or so!

To get the equivalent amount of Urolithin A in juice as it would take Mitopure®, you would have to spend $27 or so per day on pomegranate juice. In a nutshell, it still is a lot more cost-effective to take Timeline Longevity Supplement as Mitopure® than it is to drink pomegranate juice in other words. It’s also a lot less calories.

The price of Timeline Longevity Supplement hasn’t gone up and it still costs about $3.33-$4 per serving depending on whether you subscribe or not. You can also get a discount of 10% if you use the special promotional code THEHEALTHYRD. While this may seem expensive, consider the price of a cup of coffee these days well exceeds this price. And coffee isn’t nearly the longevity game-changer that Timeline’s products are.

This time while taking Timeline’s Longevity supplement I noticed its benefits in the first week.  It also seems to make me feel very alert and focused. I am taking 500 mg per day of Timeline Cellular Nutrition Mitopure Berry Powder this time.

After about 2 weeks, as I tend to do, I slacked off on taking it and this is when I did notice a change again. Specifically, I noticed that my muscles were more fatigued after exercise because I stopped taking Timeline’s Longevity Supplement. I also noticed that my muscles don’t get stiff in my sleep when I’m taking it so I end up sleeping better too. This is definitely a win-win for a woman in her 50s.

So, I resumed taking it and within about a week, I noticed that I felt more alert again and that my exercise tolerance went up. This washout period made me realize that I do indeed feel better when taking Longevity Supplements as Mitopure®.

I decided to also try the gummies of Urolithin A that Timeline offers. I really enjoy the taste and it is net carb free because all of the carbohydrates are from fiber. It has a very pleasant berry taste.

How to Take Timeline Longevity Supplement

First, you should always check with your healthcare provider before starting any new supplement.

You can take Mitopure® Softgels or gummies or mix it into food with the Longevity Mitopure® Powder. The powder form tastes tangy like berries, so it’s very pleasant. I find that it works well by mixing it into whole milk yogurt.

I still feel like the easiest way to take it is in the Softgel form because I don’t always want to eat a meal or snack on gummies if I’m doing an intermittent fast. But the gummies and the powder form both are very appealing in their own ways.

You can get 5% off any of your options by using the special code THEHEALTHYRD.
